Let’s protect the Earth! Here are 6 ways we can protect the Earth:
1.RECYCLE. Use the front and back of a sheet of paper you use .
2.SAVE WATER. Turn off the faucet when you brush your teeth and take shorter showers.
3.CONSERVE ENERGY.Turn off light, TV, Xbox, and other things that consume energy when you are not using them.
4.REUSE THINGS. Instead of throwing like your old toys away, you can donate them to the kids who don’t have any toys to play with.
5. KEEP THE AIR CLEAN. Walk or ride a bike instead of using a car because a car uses lots of gas. Which, when you use, sends pollution to the clean air.
6.DON’T LITTER. When you are done maybe eating something, don’t just throw it on the ground. Try recycling it. (Number 1) If you litter, the animals might think it is food so they eat it. That makes them sick then die.
LET’S PROTECT THE EARTH!
This is how our family celebrated Earth Day. We went to Earth Day Dallas in Fair Park.
I helped out at the Lamplighter School’s booth.
There were live chickens at the booth.
There were games like Feed the Chickens and Tic-Tac-Toe. Everyone got a prize!
My brothers and I pledged that we would protect birds.
